While there are plenty of activities to partake in at The Village, Palisades Tahoe is also centrally located in relation to many of our favorite North Lake and West Shore destinations.
Take the 25 minute scenic lakeside drive to Homewood and pick up deli sandwiches at the Tahoma Market before you visit the Chamber's pier bar for an iconic Chamber's punch on the dock.
Or, venture 15 minutes in the other direction to downtown Truckee in the afternoon for some local boutique shopping and finish the night with cocktails, dinner and live music at Moody's Bar & Bistro.
Have breakfast in Tahoe City at Rosie's Cafe-it's worth the wait! If weather permits, consider bicycle, kayak, SUP, or boat rentals from one of the board shops in the city.
Just a 30 minute drive away is the town of Truckee, California. Stroll through the historic downtown to shop, eat, drink, and more!
Also a 30 minute drive away is the beautiful Donner Lake. Take a picnic and eat on one of the 27 public piers to take in the views. There are also a few hikes in this area!
